Le but de ce site est de présenter et de mettre à disposition des outils cartographiques en ligne.

Il y en a actuellement deux, ils utilisent les Ressources du Géoportail de l'IGN :

un visualisateur qui permet d'afficher les traces de randonnées et les services à disposition des randonneurs : voir page "Catalogues carto" ci-dessus,
un éditeur/visualisateur qui permet de créer et d'afficher les traces et les wayPoints au format GPX : Editeur/Visualisateur.

Le format GPX est compatible GPS et est utilisé par les logiciels de cartographie comme CartoExploreur, memoryMap, GéoRando ...
